New milestone in sustainability at BU Insulation

At Insulation BU we strive to play an active part in furthering the major trends of our industry. Sustainability is but one of them.

By developing its main product characteristics sustainably Trocellen is strengthening its environmental protection drive: our thermal insulation portfolio facilitates higher energy saving and the zero emission of dangerous substances (VOC etc.).

LEED and WELL are two protocols used to evaluate the level of ecofriendliness of buildings. We proudly announce that Trocellen insulation products support LEED and also WELL certifications by allowing for extra credits/points.

Leed mapping

LEED is the abbreviation of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, which means a voluntary certification protocol for buildings.

Available for all kind of buildings, community and home project types, LEED provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement.

Well mapping

WELL is a Building Standard that focuses on the health and well-being of the building’s occupants from 2014. The WELL certification of a building can lead to a built environment that improves nutrition, fitness, mood, sleep, comfort and user performance. If you want to know more, check it:
